Obituary

Christopher "Chris" Patterson, of New Orleans, LA. died unexpectedly on May 16, 2023. He was 52 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Christopher was born on July 14, 1970, attended G.W Carver Senior High, and lived in New Orleans for most of his life.  

Christopher loved listening to music, dancing and telling jokes.  Although he was battling his own sickness he still took care his mother whom he loved so dearly.  Everyone who knew Christopher knew how [description] he was. Christopher was full of [light/joy/positivity/etc.], traits that were obvious to all after even just a single meeting with Christopher . 

Christopher is survived by his children, Christopher and Craig Solomon, Tia Madison, Chrishell and Herbert White, Chrishala Scott, Chrishonda, Tevin, Chrisha, Christopher Jr., Rihanna, Ta'Drian, Ki'Mora, Ki'Maya, Ki'Mani and Christian Patterson; mother Elaine Patterson; four sisters, Tracey, Rishawn (Carl), Rene and Shanita (Stacey); five brothers, Anthony, Michael, Herbert (Tomika), Reginald and Keith; eight grandkids; two uncles; six aunts and an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends and other relatives.  Chris is preceded in death by his father, Herbert McBride, sister; Terri Lynn Patterson; brother Byron Patterson; maternal grandparents, Edward and Thelma Patterson; paternal grandparents, Sidney McBride and Albertha Brown; two nieces, V'ondra Patterson and I'Lynn Smith.

We will miss him more than words can say.
