Christopher L. Merritt 41, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday July 1, 2023. He was born June 22, 1982 in Springfield, Vt. the son of James R. Sr. and Rebecca ( Sargent ) Merritt. He attended Springfield Schools and achieved his GED.

Christopher enjoyed working on computers and electronics. He will be remembered for his kind heart and his willingness to help others. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

He is survived by his  5 kids Adriana faith, Damien, Ashley, Tristan  and ex with Kelly Merritt her 4step kids    mom Rebecca A. Davis, brother Jonathan Merritt Sr. Half , brother jimmy Merritt  sister Kayla A. Davis, best friend Jessica Nichols,. Georgiana  heather nieces and nephews; Andrew, Jaiden, Joshua, Sarah, Olyvia, Nakita, Jonathan Jr., and Amber. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father James R. Merritt Sr. , grandparents Howard and Winifred Merritt and Richard and Sarah Sargent.

Friends may call at 11:00 AM on Friday July 7, 2023 at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt. A graveside service will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Proctorsville, Vermont.
