Christopher's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Martinez, who left us on December 29, 2023. Born on July 24, 1998, Christopher lived a life full of love and enlightenment, touching the lives of everyone who knew him.
Christopher leaves behind his parents Dean and Alice Martinez, along with his brother, Gabriel (Erin, Ella, Jacob) Martinez, and sisters Jennifer (Craig, Holden, Sylas) Neff and Christina (Tyson, Mila, Kaia, Jordan) Lamond, as well as his beloved cats Luca and Lana. They, along with countless other friends and family members, will deeply miss his kind and caring disposition.
In his time with us, Christopher had a personality that was always caring, observant and patient. His intelligence was a beacon of brilliance that illuminated the path for many. His life was marked by compassion, a tenacity to live life to its fullest, and a profound commitment to showing up for the people he loved no matter where in the world they were located.
Among his many accomplishments, Christopher graduated as salutatorian from Chatfield Senior High School, and later from University of Colorado Boulder as Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics . He went on to attend a distinguished and accelerated nursing program at University of Colorado Anschutz and graduated with Sigma Global Nursing Excellence Honors and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. His hard work and dedication to his studies were testament to his enduring commitment to education and self-improvement.
Christopher worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) during nursing school, and then at Lutheran Medical Center. He recently joined the clinical team at Skin Laundry as an Aesthetic Registered Nurse. Skin Laundry is an international company providing medical-grade facials and skin care. Christopher enjoyed making people feel their best - inside and out.
Christopher's legacy is one of compassion, kindness, generosity, light, and, above all, love. This is a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege to know him. We hold in our hearts his bright smile, humor, and kind nature that made him a joy to be around.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established to assist with funeral expenses and support the family. Any funds not used for direct costs will be given to a charitable cause in honor of Christopher's memory. Donations can be made at the following web address: https://everloved.com/life-of…
Christopher was bigger than the whole sky. He left us far too soon, and his loss will leave a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Yet, we take comfort knowing that his spirit is at rest, and his light lives on his memories and through those that loved him. Rest in paradise, dear Christopher; until we see you again.
