On Saturday November 13,2021, Christopher “Crispy” James Patterson, passed away at the age of 25. He was pre-deceased in death by his dad, Donald L Grothe Jr. in 2012. He is survived by his mother, Susan Grothe of Virginia, his sisters Jessica and Danielle Grothe also of Virginia; his father James Patterson and sister Ashley Patterson from Connecticut, and brother James Patterson Jr from North Carolina; in addition to multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and framily across the country.

Chris graduated from Bryant and Stratton University majoring in Cyber Security. In his spare time Chris enjoyed hanging out with his family, floating down the river, and going to the movies. He enjoyed playing games with friends and always had a show for you to watch. He loved debating with people and was terrible at being wrong about anything. Whenever “Crispy” was in the room there was always sure to be laughter. He was simply a joy to be around. He is and will forever be missed by all that knew him.
