Christopher (Chris)'s obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Hardy, who transitioned peacefully on September 20, 2025. Born on December 18, 1972, Christopher lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, marked by his loving personality, his passion for the outdoors, and his remarkable talent as a self-taught guitarist.

Christopher's heart was deeply anchored in his family. He is survived by his beloved father, Floyd Hardy, his adoring mother, Elizabeth Gene Hardy, and his caring sister, Jill Hardy. Christopher was not only a card-carrying Hardy family member, son and a loving brother, but also a proud father. One of his greatest joys and accomplishments was being a father to his son.

With a personality that was at once impulsive, funny, sensitive, driven, and deeply caring, Christopher left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His unique sense of humor and his sensitive nature made him a comfort and a joy to all around him. His drive and determination were evident in his work as a master mechanic, a skill he was always enthusiastic to share with others.

Among Christopher's favorite recreational activities were hunting, fishing, and playing guitar. An outdoorsman and deer slayer extraordinaire, he found solace and joy in nature. His self-taught guitar playing, despite never learning to read music, showcased his inherent talent, and he was a vital member of his band, sharing his passion for music with others.

Christopher's legacy will be remembered through his love for his family, his passion for the outdoors, his mechanical abilities, and his musical talent. While he will be deeply missed, his spirit and the impact he made will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
