Dear Gernhard Family:

Please accept our deepest sympathy.  We are praying for you during this difficult time, but we have a feeling Chris is smiling down on you.

Love,

The Bondanza Family -- Frank, Cathy, Frankie & Jacqueline

Chris was such a fun, easy going and handsome man. My mother Uschi, just told me that “he was so nice and really handsome!”

I grew up with Serena and I’m so sad about her loss   . . To have a husband like Chris, so many years and have lived the early chapters  of their beautiful grown sons’  lives affords a quintessential friendship.   The pain and sorrow must be squelched to live one’s daily life with cheer for the sake of oneself, family and friends.

Our deepest sympatry and prayers are with you and your family during these times.

Dorothea and Joey

Serena, Nick, Nathan and Family, we are so very sorry to learn of Chris’s passing.  He was such a kind person and our heavy hearts go out to all of you.  We will always have fond memories of our time together at Rancho and in the Little League stands. May you all find strength and comfort in each other during this very difficult time. Sadly, we will be out of town for the memorial but will be thinking of you with love.   ~Chris and Lori Sheron

We are heartbroken to learn of Chris’s passing. We first experienced Chris as a loving family man, a mentor to our kids, and a caring and kind human who always had a good word to share. Chris spearheaded supporting our then 12 year olds as they experienced the tragic loss of their friend Hailey just 12 yrs ago.  His heart was huge; he made an impact by asking the deeper questions, and by doing that he learned how he could be of service. Forever in our hearts is where Chris will be. 💞

(((Hugging))) you Serena, Nathan and Nick.

I had the great pleasure of being around Chris’ boys at Marin Catholic. What an incredible legacy he leads.  The best of the best.  May you rest in peace Chris!
