A beloved son, husband and father Christopher Freeman, 49, of Columbia South Carolina passed Thursday, March 22, 2018 in his home in Petersburg, Virginia. Christopher was born to Joseph and Sarah Freeman on the twentieth of February, 1969.

Christopher graduated from Colombia Union High School and shortly joined the United States Army right after. He married his Kiara and is survived by his two sons Isaiah and Emanuel.

First Sergeant Freeman served his country as a culinary specialist of H. Co. 1-17 Infantry Division of the 2nd Brigade Stryker Combat Team. He has been honored with the Audrey Murphy award in 2002 and a Purple Heart in 2007.
