Christopher (Chris) Ricardo Crosdale passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2024, at the age of 56 in Stone Mountain, GA. He was born on February 18, 1968, in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1982. Chris truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive and was known for his kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality. His generosity knew no bounds and was a shining example of how to think of others, a value that was central to his character. He was not only generous in life, but also in death as an organ and tissue donor. Chris was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He had a beautiful soul and would help anyone. He lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service towards others, and especially loved spending time with his family, and friends.
Chris Crosdale, a beacon of kindness and love, will forever reside in our hearts. His legacy, exemplified by his humorous nature and compassion, will continue to inspire us. His departure leaves an unfillable void in our lives, yet we find comfort in the cherished memories and everlasting love we shared. As we grapple with the loss of his physical presence, we find solace in knowing that he is safely in the Lord’s arms now and his spirit lives on through the love he gave so freely.
He is survived by his mother Olive Gordon, sister, Wendy-Ann Cust, brother, Matthew Gordon, nephews, Nicholas Cust and Tyler Gordon, niece, Madison Cust, aunt, Eula Baker, and cousins, Lloyd Duhaney, Lance Duhaney, Mark Duhaney, Faith-Ann Gore, Michael Layton, Brenda Williams, Edwin Reid, Deborah McGann, Pat Simmons, Troy Allen, DeAnne Lorde, and Marc Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Everard and Lena Williams, aunts, Joyce Duhaney and Mercia Reid, uncles, Fitz Gore and Anthony Kennedy, cousins Lawrence Duhaney and Blair Kennedy.
