In Loving Memory of Christopher Collins.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Collins, a father of four, who tragically lost his life at the age of 36 on February 24, 2024. Christopher, born on October 12, 1987, was a loving husband, father, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and courage that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Christopher is survived by his wife Kristin Schainost, his cherished children Emily, Ethan, Cooper, and Cameron Collins, his mother Shawn (Tony) Lubbers, his father Ken (Nina) Collins, grandfather John Collins, grandparents Don and LaVada Wood, Sister Kendra (Gary) Enfield, their children Zayla and Caitlin, and a host of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.  He is preceded in death by his his grandmother Margaret Collins, children Tristian and Bailey Collins, and niece Alyssa Williams. 

In addition to being a loving family man, Chris served his country for 4 years in the United States Navy. The family invites friends and well-wishers to leave memories, photos, and prayers.  You may send flowers or make donations to a gofundme account to help with expenses. Christopher's untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy of love, courage, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
