Savage's obituary
Christopher Lee Anstine, "Savage", 36, of Empire, CA, passed away on April 17, 2022 after being murdered at his home. He passed in his Wife's arms despite her efforts to do what she could to save his life.
Savage was born on March 21st 1986 in Modesto, CA. Savage was a fearless leader who provided and protected his family on the daily basis. He was very proud of his nieces and nephew, his wife, and sisters. A prideful skinhead who did not let his beliefs cloud his judgement or the relationships with his loved ones. He encouraged, guided, and taught all of us to stand up for ourselves and strive for a better life, strive to be a better person because at the end of the day even Savage knew that life above all else was most important. He had a job at one time he was quite proud of where he dismantled large ships, he met Ashley Maia in 2017, and they wed on his birthday about a month before his death on Easter Sunday. They had planned on having children, even though he may as well have been the father of his nieces and nephew who are all so much like their uncle Christopher, moving out of state and starting a new life of their own. Savage was gifted and had many talents, despite being color-blind he made many beautiful works of art and he never let that falter his creativity. He had a hobby of collecting bongs, hats, and cookies products. He had an immaculate green thumb growing Marijuana plants and buds that were the size of his pride. Although Christopher is no longer physically here his spirit remains with all of us and he finally is content being reunited with his father John Shelby whom he looked up to and admired. Savage brought a sense of inspiration to his Wife daily and she found the strength through him to overcome addiction and learned how to forgive and let go. Savage was a fighter and dealt with everything head on. He was leader of the pack and everyone looked to him for answers or guidance. He will never be forgotten and will forever be in our hearts filled with irreplaceable memories and unconditional love. If anyone could reach perfection it was Savage. We love you Christopher you are forever missed, loved, and we could not have asked for a better man to have in our lives leading us on our adventure through life. You were taken from us far too soon, but other than your death we wouldn't have changed a thing. We loved who you were and there will never be another person like you, no one could fill your shoes. We love you more to the moon and back, forever and always until we meet again my love.
