Christine's obituary
On the morning of December 30, 2024 Christine Marie Marquise, of Flower Mound, TX, peacefully passed away at the age of 56. She was surrounded by her husband and children.
Christine was born on May 01, 1968 to Mike and Linda North in Canoga Park, CA. Christine graduated from Chaminade High School in 1986. After graduation Christine moved up the coast to attend Cal Poly SLO, where she graduated in 1991. At Cal Poly she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She made lifetime friendships while at Cal Poly SLO and took yearly girls trips with her SLO friends.
After graduation, Christine moved to San Francisco and began working for Ketchum Advertising. After about a year, she left Ketchum and began her career at Anderson Consulting, which became Accenture. She retired from Accenture after 25+ years, having worked several positions within HR Recruiting.
Christine met her husband, Dan, at the Union Street Festival in San Francisco in 1994. They got engaged in Hawaii in 1995, and got married in San Diego on September 28, 1996. They were married 28 years and have 2 wonderful daughters, Samantha and Kimberly. Christine was a devout wife and mother who loved her family.
Christine loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, play games, sing and dance. She had most recently been playing pickle ball and mahjong and had even begun to crochet. Her most recent travels included trips to Greece with Dan and the girls, a trip to Portugal with Kimberly and a trip to Istanbul with Samantha.
Christine is survived by her husband Dan, her daughters Samantha and Kimberly, her father Mike North, her sister Wendy Van Gundy, her niece McKenna and her nephew Cooper. She was preceded in death by her mother Linda North.
A Memorial Service will be held on January 9th at 3:00pm at Flower Mound United Methodist Church (3950 Bruton Orand Blvd, Flower Mound TX). For those who cannot attend in person the service will be live streamed at https://fmumc.org
