Background
Our beloved sister, daughter, mother, and very best friend, Christine Bradley, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Monday, August 28th. She was 55 years old.
Born in Madison, Wisconsin on December 5th, 1967, Christine grew up and lived most of her life in Prior Lake, Minnesota. She spent many years working at Mystic Lake Casino in Blackjack, while putting herself through nursing school for a career she felt called to and was very passionate about. She spent almost 20 years as a registered nurse, working in oncology, medical/surgical, family birth, geriatrics, and the burn unit, where she treated every single patient with dignity & respect.
Anybody who ever met Christine knows that the world has lost a very special person. Christine was a devoted & loving mom to Brandon (35) & Rachel (24), and would do anything for her people. She was loving, selfless, thoughtful, silly, hilarious, vibrant, and just the life of any party. She was bold & courageous. She had an eclectic taste in music (especially cheesy 70s), dancing, scary movies, German pizza, tequila, a good dare, and her huge family get-togethers. She had a big, judgment-free and forgiving heart, and brought energy into any room she entered (even if she fell asleep in the middle of it shortly after.) She was a one-of-a-kind type of person you'll just never forget. 55 years of her laugh just doesn't seem nearly long enough.
Christine is finally pain-free and forever healthy. Although she will no longer be with us physically, she will always be watching over all of us; encouraging us to take the dare, have the drink, sing at the top of our lungs, and accept others exactly the way they are. She will be missed more than could possibly be imagined. Contribute
