Christine Ramona (Hutchins) Gatten went to be with Jesus on June 30th, 2024. She passed peacefully in her sleep with her husband at her side in the home they shared for twenty years. Christine came into this world on November 13th, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri. From the moment she was born, she was creative, outspoken, and dedicated. She blessed those around her with a sense of understanding and honesty that made her a place of comfort for the hurting. She never turned away a person in need and has left behind a legacy of hope and healing. Talented with a hot glue gun, there wasn’t anything Christine couldn’t craft. From handmade quilts to beautifully dressed teddy bears, her creativity shined brightly in everything she did. She worked hard her entire life to provide for her family and started her own LLC, Simple Solutions Cleaning Company, where she won many awards. Christine had a devoted relationship with God and exemplified his teachings in every aspect of her life. She loved working with the youth ministries at Southview Christian Church and organizing the school supply carnival each year. She enjoyed Christian music and sang her praises for Jesus each Sunday. Her relationship with God gave her unyielding fulfillment in life, and now she has gone home to reap the fruits of her faith forevermore.
