Christine “Chrissy” Lee Tovey (Gleason), 37, passed away on March 2nd, 2023 at U of M Hospital in Wyoming, MI in the loving presence of her Mother and Sister.

Born on August 25th, 1985 to Tammy Gleason and Ronald Rhodes, Jr., Chrissy was a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, MI.

Chrissy, “Our Sunshine”, was a passionate and devoted mother to her 5 children: Jacob (18), Mason (13), Elliette (10), Rhiannon (6), and Korynn (3). Her family and friends remember her best as a funny, caring, and outgoing woman who was adored by all who met her.

Chrissy is survived by her children, her parents, her sister Randi, nephews Logan and Seth, niece Calliope, her aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 1-4pm at Madison Avenue Missionary Baptist Church (Fellowship Hall, next door to the church) located at 5757 Madison Avenue SE, in Kentwood, MI 49548.
