Our sweet Christine Armstrong was born on January 15, 1971, the day of Martin Luther King's birthday at 1. pm. She was 7 lbs 15 oz. Her parents Thomas Armstrong and Norma Armstrong were overjoyed with their new baby girl. Her 7 year old sister Suzanne Greenidge-Hewitt was anxiously waiting for her sister to come home. Christine was born with hydrocephalus which went undetected at birth and caused her to be mentally challenged after birth. At 6 years old Christine couldn't wait to see her younger brother Jason Armstrong.
Christine attended PS 255, Brooklyn Occupational Training Center and Young Adults Institute. She passed away on Jan 3, 2020 after a year long battle with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer
