Dear Friends and Family, with a broken heart we come to you for help. Our best friend Christina McKenzie had a stroke on 9/17/22 and has been hospitalized since. She has had a series of complications that have been complicating her recovery. Unfortunately, due to Kidney and Lung issues she has been on life support at the ICu since 10/25/22. Life support will be removed 11/15/22 and we are preparing for the worse. At this time, things can go in two directions: either she will pass away when her body is ready or she may still be able to recover but the extent to how much is undetermined at this time due to the brain damage. Her heart has been functioning at 18% since she was 25 and she is a fighter so we are praying for the best. At this time there have been many unexpected expenses and loss of income for the family from the back and forth trips to the hospital, to missing days at work being there for our beloved Christina; during this hard time money should be the last thing they should worry about. We are coming forward to get help for these bills stacking up, for care of Christina if a miracle happens, or sadly arrangements for her. She does have her nine year old son, Connor, so any extra funds will be saved for his college funds.
