Christina Maree Price, 68, of Rochester, WA, passed away on July 3rd,

2024.

Christina was born on February 22, 1956, in Rapid City, South Dakota. Her

father was in the Air Force, so she and her family moved frequently. She

experienced living in three countries and five states as she grew up.

Christina met the love of her life, John Price, while working at her first job at

KGY Radio in Olympia, WA. She and John were married in 1978 and raised

three children: John Wayne Price Jr., Jonathan Wayne Price, and Jana Lynn

Gilchrist. Christina and John lived in the Kirkland WA area for many years until

they retired to the Rochester, WA area in 2015.

Christina was a devoted member of the Bahai community for over 30 years,

where she served in various positions with the regional and local assemblies

and chapters.

Christina loved the Pacific Northwest and its natural beauty. She was a nature

lover and enjoyed watching the swallows resting on and flying around John’s

Ham Radio antennas. Her truest love of nature were the orca whales; the J, K,

and L pods, living in the San Juan Islands. Please find a solution so they don’t

die. Once they are lost, they’re gone forever. Breach the Snake River Dams!

Christina was predeceased by her parents John and Jean. She is survived by

her husband John; their three children; their two grandchildren Jaydin and

Abram along with her sister Susan, and her brother John.

A celebration of life for Christina will take place at Funeral Alternatives in

Tumwater, WA.
