Please consider a contribution to Bluefield Project to Cure Frontotemporal Dementia.

Background

Frontotemporal Dementia is a rare and aggressive disease that is often coupled with Aphasia, a disorder that impairs the brains ability to create speech and comprehend language. It does not have a cure, nor any treatment that slows the progression of the disease. FTD is early onset, generally beginning to impact those affected between ages 40-65, and is often misdiagnosed. Despite Tina displaying various signs of cognitive decline for several years, her condition was not recognized and diagnosed as FTD and Aphasia until 2022.

While we are grateful for the many wonderful years spent with Tina, we are heartbroken that this cruel disease took her life. If you are inclined, please donate to the Bluefield Project, an organization aimed at finding a cure, in Tina’s honor.
