Christina Mae Card, age 46 of Sandwich, Ma., and a native to Cape Cod, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 23rd, due to complications of an infection & heart failure. She is predeceased by our mother, and her best friend, Melodie Card, our stepfather, Henry Monteiro, our Uncle Bruce, and grandparents, Clifford & Florice TenBroeck. She attended school in the Nauset district and moved on to Cape Cod Regional Tech where she studied and practiced culinary arts & cosmetology & graduated with honors in 1993.

Christina was kind, & giving, adored animals, and loved to cook, sew & create. In spite of her many physical & mental health challenges from a very young age, she worked several jobs over the years, and created a thriving jewelry making business for herself, “Christina Originals.”
She was a Devout Christian, & born again in her search for truth, forgiveness & light in most recent years. She had a following of students she taught through on line services & at her local home church, and was dedicated to helping spread the word of God. We pray she’s at peace with him now, and in the company of her very best friend.

She is survived by her father Paul Card, four children, Brittany, Victor & Shaun López, & Jonathan Clark, sisters Vanessa Card (Chris Morissette) & Robin Monteiro (Clayton Rufo), nieces Hayden & Lucy Jane, her partner Mark Furtado, as well as 4 aunts, uncles, and many cousins!
Private family services will be held in November. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NAMI.
