Christina's obituary
In Loving Memory of Christina Pauline Barton Broestler
November 16, 1977 – July 2, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Christina Pauline Barton Broestler, who left this world on July 2, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on November 16, 1977, Christina was a proud daughter of Southern Georgia, where she lived a simple country life filled with grit, laughter, and love.
Christina was the kind of woman who made an impression—loud, funny, and unapologetically sarcastic. She had a laugh that could fill a room and a wit that could cut through the thickest tension.
Christina is survived by three of her sisters and one brother (Jennifer, Marti, Bobby & Alex(Alexandra), who will carry her memory in their hearts and in every shared story, every inside joke, every moment of stubborn strength. She is now reunited with two beloved sisters, one cherished brother, and her mother, all of whom preceded her in death.
Though her life was not marked by grand gestures or worldly accolades, Christina’s legacy is etched in the everyday moments: the porch talks at dusk, the laughter echoing through the kitchen, the way she made people feel seen and known. She lived honestly, loved deeply, and never missed a chance to speak her mind.
Christina’s passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her spirit—bold, brash, and beautiful—will live on in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, and the love we continue to give.
Rest easy, Christina. The world is quieter without you, but heaven just got a whole lot louder.
