Christina's obituary

Dr. Christina Eileen Alba, age 51, formerly of Kansas City, Kansas and recently residing in Floyd, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Lewis Gale Montgomery hospital in Blacksburg, Virginia. The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, December 30th at 2:00 pm in the Brick and Mirth building, 115 S 1st St, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080. A celebration of life will also be planned in May 2024 to host friends in Floyd, Virginia.

Christina was a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2018 and moved to Floyd, Virgina shortly after graduation where she opened Manifesting Wellness, providing chiropractic care and salt therapy to the local community. She was the president of the local PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) chapter. She was a force to be reckoned with, always standing up for what she believed in. She was also passionate about the healing powers of the earth and unlocking those powers within us. She loved her adventures kayaking, camping, and hiking. Her favorite place to be was surrounded by nature.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Juanita Clay, and her daughter Kaylee Clay. She is survived by her children, Blaine Beachum, Kyler Alba, Tatiana Alba, and Gabino Acosta; grandchildren Kayleigh Beachum and Charlie Beachum; sisters Dawn Huffmaster, LPN and Tracey Goold, SPHR; nieces, nephews and friends.
