Christian's obituary
Christian Anthony Chapa was born on May 10, 1999 and passed away on April 6, 2023 after a prolonged battle with depression at the age of 23. He is survived by his father, Eddie, his mother, Susie, his brother, Michael, his grandparents, Tom, Pam, Cesar, & Tina, his girlfriend, Laura, and his dog, Schwin.
Christian's profession was in Information Technology, where he showcased his dedication and skills. He had a vast array of hobbies that he loved to engage in, including painting, drawing, playing video games, playing guitar, piano, bass, and trombone, Gundam model building, cooking, baking, and exploring new foods. Christian was an animal lover and was passionate about preventing animal suffering and animal cruelty. He would frequently dedicate his time volunteering at Lost Paws Rescue of Texas where he adopted his dog, Schwin, and he would annually donate to the organization on National Rescue Dog Day.
Christian graduated from The Colony High School in 2017. He continued his education at Collin College Frisco Campus, where he graduated in 2021 as Cum Laude with an Associates of Applied Science in Computer Networking - Integrated Technology Track. He received certifications to serve as an Integrated Networking Cloud, Virtualization, and Storage Technician.
Christian's memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his warmhearted and generous nature. Those who knew him were always enlightened by his bright smile, charm, and sense of humor. Christian Chapa's legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire those he left behind.
