Farmington Hills - Chris F. Carter passed August 1, 2020 in Farmington Hills, MI at the age of 81. He was beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother as well as uncle and friend.

Chris was born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 12, 1939. He worked as a bus driver for the City of New York for over thirty years. He retired in 2004.

Chris was huge fan of MLB. His favorite team was the New York Yankees. He was a true gentleman and a man of prayer. He was loved and well respected in his community and by everyone who knew him.

Chris is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, June; one daughter, Randy, and two sons, Michael and Darren; nine grandkids, Adrian, Ashley, Ryand, Mark, Robert, Gabriel, Jacob, Sonny, and Meghan; ten great-grandchildren, Ava, Alice, Arlen, Aimee, Issac, Arianne, Sara, Levi, Aaron, and Simon; one brother, Roger; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
