Why is this cause meaningful?
Because Chichi was a "found" dog who followed us home and changed our lives forever. Every animal deserves the chance to find a family that will fight for them and love them as deeply as we loved her. Supporting a shelter helps other "lost" souls find their way to a forever home.
How was Chichi involved with this cause?
Chichi was the living proof of what happens when you give a stray a chance. She wasn't just a pet; she was a neighborhood star and a daughter. By supporting this cause, we are honoring the day she chose us and the life she lived as a "leash-free" loyal partner.
How will the donations help?
Donations will provide food, medical care (like the extra care Chichi’s unique "stroke" smile might have needed), and safety for dogs who are currently waiting for their own "Labor Day morning" miracle. It helps the shelter keep these animals safe until they find their person.
Anything else you'd like people to know?
Chichi didn't have much when she found us, but she gave us everything. She taught us that loyalty doesn't need a leash and that a quiet bark can fill a whole house with love. We want her legacy to be one of rescue and kindness. Contribute to Ani-Care Animal Shelter
