Chheurn's obituary
In Loving Memory of Chheurn Klin
March 12, 1965 – June 5, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we remember and celebrate the life of Chheurn Klin, who passed away on June 5th, 2025, at the age of 60 in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on March 12th, 1965 in Oddar Meanchey, Cambodia, Chheurn’s journey was one of resilience, love, and strength. He immigrated to the United States, where he built a beautiful life rooted in family, kindness, and community. Through every chapter of his life, Chheurn remained a beacon of hope, laughter, and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chheurn was one of eight siblings, a bond that shaped his deep sense of loyalty and leadership. He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra Klin, his proud children Jasaw, Jasmine, and Angel Klin, and his cherished grandson Rowan Klin, who carries forward his light and legacy.
To know Chheurn was to know joy. He was a master storyteller with a sharp sense of humor that could light up any room. With an infectious smile and charismatic presence, he made strangers feel like old friends. He had a unique style—rarely seen without one of his signature vests—not for fashion’s sake, but because he believed in feeling good and looking good, no matter the occasion.
He loved cooking and gathering with family, where his presence brought warmth and laughter to every meal. If you met Chheurn, you likely remember the way he’d introduce himself: “It’s pronounced ‘Churn’—like the butter.” That was just his way—humble, disarming, and always memorable.
Chheurn approached life with grace and courage, facing every obstacle head-on and finding light even in the darkest times. He was a natural leader—a man who inspired others simply by being himself. His legacy is woven into the lives of everyone he touched.
Though his physical journey has come to a close, Chheurn’s spirit lives on in the hearts of his loved ones. He was truly one of a kind, and the mark he left on this world will never fade.
Loved by so many, he will never be forgotten.
May he rest in eternal peace.
