Cheyenne's obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Cheyenne "Doodles" Loomer, who departed from us on March 20, 2024. Born on July 13, 1998, Cheyenne, known to family as Doodles or Chey to friends, lived her life with infectious exuberance and a fierce love for the people and world around her. Doodles is survived by her parents, Steven Loomer and Kristen Paulson, and her siblings, Jesse Paulson, Steven Loomer, Windi Wolger, Daniel Loomer, Julia Lembach, Frederick Wolger, Michelle Wolger and Angela Loomer, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Doodles outgoing and adventurous spirit was complemented by a deeply loving and bright personality. She was a beacon of light to those around her, constantly encouraging all to "live life like there is no tomorrow". This mantra could be seen in the joyful way she navigated her own life. Doodles made strangers into friends and made sure those around her knew how much they meant to her.
Doodles’ accomplishments were many. Among them, she was proud of graduating from the University of California Long Beach. The fact that she moved from Northern California to the Long Beach area and planned on never looking back. She loved the weather and sunsets on the beach, alone or with friends. If she wasn’t at the beach or work, you could find Doodles with friends at raves and music festivals. Yet, her true accomplishment lay in the deep connections she formed with those around her. She fostered an environment of love and respect, always ensuring that those in her life felt seen and valued. Doodles LOVED the color blue, drinks, candy, clothes, it didn’t matter. She would order a drink because it was blue, even if it tasted horrible…because it was blue, same went with candy. We often joked that blue was a flavor.
More than anything, Doodles adored her family, friends, and the beach. Her legacy is one of family and friendship, a testament to the strong bonds she formed and the love she shared generously. Her family and friends plan on carrying forward her legacy of love and friendship.
We mourn her passing but find comfort in knowing that her spirit continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. Though she is no longer physically in our presence, her influence will forever be a part of our lives. In her last days, Doodles went out a hero, saving lives through organ donation. Her courageous approach to life and death, serves as a reminder for us all to live our lives to the fullest, just as she did.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help Doodles’ family with the unexpected costs that a life taken too soon brings. Please consider donating or sharing if you are able. https://gofund.me/be50ab23
