Chester Blake Ward, a devoted father, and cherished friend, passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Ravenna, OH, on August 15, 1948, Chester was known for his love of fishing, passion for Ohio sports, as a loyal Browns and Indians fan, as well as his role as a valued member of the North Canton Eagles FOE 2223. Throughout his life, Chester was a perfect gentleman who brought joy to all those around him with his infectious smile and fun-loving nature. He will be remembered for his caring and loving demeanor as well as his talent for entertaining others. He also enjoyed sharing his love for music with those he loved, often recalling his roadie days when he was younger. He always brought a smile to everyone's face and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Alice "Lucile" Ward; and siblings, Arthur, Robert, Barbara, and Raymond Ward. Chester is survived by his daughter, Kasey (Jesse) Carpurso; step daughters, Shannon, Amanda; grandsons, Colson, Asher; siblings, Alice Ross, Harriet Knight, Jane Briner, Lloyd (Kay) Ward, Gail (William) Riley; former wife, Jennifer Megan (Lama) Cessna; best friends, Dan Kendel, Nancy Lidderdale, with whom he shared many enjoyable game nights; as well as many other relatives and friends.
