It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Chester Thomas, Jr., who passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026. Born on February 10, 1952, his journey of 74 years on this earth was filled with laughter, sarcasm, and an abundance of love.

Chester was a beacon of light to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His infectious smile, jovial nature, and his unique ability to brighten anyone's day with his quick-witted humor made him a beloved figure in his community. His loving nature was a testament to his character, and those who knew him knew him as a good father, a friendly neighbor, and a pillar of strength.

Chester is survived by his precious daughter, Via Thomas. He considered being a father to Via as one of his greatest accomplishments. His lessons of kindness and the importance of safe driving were passed down to his daughter, and they continue to echo even after his departure from this life.

More than anything else, Chester leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity - especially towards children. Even in his absence, his teachings about the importance of compassion and generosity continue to resonate within the hearts of many.
