CHESTER D. COOPER SR., age 69, of Springfield, passed away on February 21, 2020 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on September 11, 1950 to the late Richard M. and Anna J (Jones) Cooper. Chester graduated from Springfield North High School, Class of 1970. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Chester retired as a welder from Columbia Gas after 35 years of service. He loved fishing, going …
