Cheryl's obituary
Born in Hazel Crest, IL on May 23, 1958, she grew up in Homewood, IL and graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1976. She and her five children resided for many years in Steger, IL. Several years ago, she finally realized her modest dream of moving south, landing happily in Paris, IL.
She loved being a mother and was overjoyed to be a grandmother of five grandchildren. She also eagerly embraced the four children of her future daughter's-in-law, bringing the total to nine grandchildren and recently received the happy news that number ten was on the way. She loved a good cup of coffee, open windows and fresh air in the summer, listening to good music, and staying connected to family and friends, both near and far, by posting almost daily on Facebook.
She is survived by her five children, Michael Siemon of South Chicago Heights, IL; James Paquette and fiance Amy Keys of Paris, IL; Anna Williams and fiance Damien Blomlie of Lynwood, IL; Tracie Williams and boyfriend Preston Blomquist of Brook, IN; and Jacob Williams of South Chicago Heights, IL; grandchildren Andrew Siemon (12); Alex Paquette (10); Skylar Paquette (9); Callie Blomlie (6); Osiris Blomlie (1); Baby Blomquist (due March 2020); Olivia Keys (14); Lilly Keys (12); Dennis Keys (10); and Molly Keys (5).
She is also survived by her brother Roger Siemon of Paducah, KY; sister Janet Cook and her husband Kerry of Skokie, IL; niece Amanda Alexander and great-niece Kayelin Alexander of Steger, IL and nephew Tony Alexander of Sauk Village, IL.
She is preceded in death by her spouse Michael Williams, her parents Roger Paul and Marvalene Siemon, and her great-niece Daneah Kaye Cousins.
A small outdoor memorial service for family and close family friends is planned for Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1:00 pm beneath the picnic shelter at Joe Orr Woods in Chicago Heights, IL (located on the south side of Joe Orr Road, between Halsted Street and State Street).
