Cheryl's obituary
Cheryl Lynn Steele Mueller Logue, age 68, known for her loving and giving nature, was reunited with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 7th, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Cheryl began her life on September 25th, 1956, in McKees Rocks, PA.Throughout her life, Cheryl touched the lives of many with her caring and compassionate spirit. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Orlo R. Logue in 2014 and Sylvia R. Logue in 2017. Cheryl is survived by her cherished children son Jeremy Locke Steele (wife: Bernadette, children: Azariah, Elessar and Sabella), daughter Christy Lynn Steele (Husband: Tim Lindsay, children: Serena, Kayla, Jackson and Bailey), and daughter Crystal Marie Mueller (husband: Joseph X. Sammarco Jr., children: Ilyana and Mariella). She also leaves behind her siblings Debbie Doyle, Karen Logue, Kevin Logue, Barry Logue, and Gary Logue and their families, as well as a wide circle of dear friends.
Cheryl accomplished much in her lifetime, graduating from high school in 1975 before bravely serving in the Army starting in 1977. She later furthered her education by graduating college with an A.A. degree in Criminal Justice. She had a passion for art and painting and enjoyed teaching classes at her community events. She enjoyed a good adventure, making friends, and spending time with people. Cheryl was a dedicated member of the Moose Lodge since 1987, embodying her commitment to community and service. She was most proud of her role as a Mother and Nana/Grandma.
Beyond her achievements, Cheryl will be remembered for her beautiful heart, selfless nature and outgoing personality. She had a special talent for helping others and her generosity knew no bounds. Her warm smile and kind words were a comfort to all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Cheryl's life will be held on May 24, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm at Tempe Mortuary, 405 East Southern Avenue, Tempe, AZ. A funeral service with Military Honors will follow on July 11, 2025, at 12 pm at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO.
Cheryl's legacy of determination, resilience, dependability, loving and compassionate nature will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed. We know she was given peace and the gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus.
