Cheryl's obituary

Cheryl "Sherry" was born in Vancouver British Columbia on January 30th, 1954, the eldest daughter of (late) William "Bill" & (late) Erma Moyseyuk and sister to (late) Rodney "Rod" Moyseuk (Yvonne).

She was the foundation of the Lindner family, the glue that kept us all together. Her home was full of laughter and happiness, with family and friends. She always had a willing ear and provided the support needed to get through the difficult times. She was the pillar of her community. She was the type of person who would drop everything to help those who were in need. It did not matter who you were, or where you came from, she was always there with a welcoming smile. Over the years she has housed many of us including friends and family. She provided the support that was needed to thrive on our own.

She married Daniel "Dan" Lindner on March 17th 1973. They settled in North Vancouver and raised their four children. She was the beloved mother to Ryan (Sheri), Shaun (Ashley), Jason (Louis) and Sheldon (Caryn). Loving Grandmother to Brianna, Austin, Kiara, Emma, Anika, Luca, Colby and Lily. Aunt to Carleigh and Joey. She worked for Service Canada in the unemployment divison and Fraud investigations. She retired in ???? and this gave her the opportunity to spend more time on her first passion, her children and grandchildren.

She spent the majority of her free time attending as many sports games as she could. She was always on the sidelines rooting her family on. She was so proud of each member of her family; it showed and was felt by all of us.

She loved to talk about the many accomplishements of her children and grandchildren had acheived. From hockey, baseball, soccer, the family artist and any academic or career acheivememts.
