Cheryl Lynn Shafer, age 72, of Glenwood, IL, passed away Thursday November 3, 2022 in Hazel Crest, IL. Daughter of (late) Wendell and Elaine Greenleaf. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who always brought a bright personality and smile to every room she entered. She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Shafer and Jennifer Lessentine (Shafer); 5 grandchildren; Austin Lessentine, Peyton Lessentine, Skylynn Lessentine, Ilana Newberry, and Dakota Newberry. Ms. Shafer was a wonderful combination of warmth, kindness, laughter, and love. She was someone who always knew how to entertain a crowd and was loved very much by those close to her.
