Cheryl's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl Pawloski, who left us on June 1, 2024. Born on May 6, 1949, Cheryl lived a life full of love, laughter, and zest for living.
Cheryl is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Pawloski, her loving children, Chad Pawloski and Melanie Thomas, all of whom will miss her dearly. Her family was the epicenter of her world and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Cheryl was a woman of many passions. She was an avid follower of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and never missed a game. Cheryl also derived great joy from watching her grandchildren's sports activities, always their biggest cheerleader on the sidelines.
Her personality was best described as bubbly, stubborn, and opinionated. Yet, she was also very caring, leaving a lasting impact on those she met. Even in her recreational time, Cheryl sought out ways to spread joy. She was a frequent visitor to Goodwill Thrift stores, finding pleasure in discovering hidden gems and giving them a second life.
Family was a cause close to Cheryl's heart and she was unwavering in her commitment to them. Her favorite quote was, "be better tomorrow than you are today," a testament to her belief in continuous growth and improvement. Her legacy will forever be remembered through her acts of kindness and generosity, values she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Cheryl's memory by performing acts of kindness, large or small, in your daily life. Let's keep her spirit alive by spreading love and joy, just as she did during her lifetime. She will be deeply missed but her light will continue to shine in our hearts forever.
