Bill... I'm so very sorry for your loss. Cherie was one of the nicest, sweetest person I ever had the privilege of knowing. She reminded me a lot of your mom. Soft spoken and a big heart. She was also extremely funny. Especially many times at your expense (which was even funnier). I know she loved you, tho. And her son, Mike. Such a wonderful lady. Sending prayers up for her Mike, you and your whole family. She was a bright light and will be missed by those who had the honor of knowing her. My deepest sympathy to you all. 🙏❤😭💔

Mike...I know you don't know me, but I knew your mom and she was a very special lady. She will definitely be missed.

Cherie was the type of person that made one feel that you knew her longer than you did and more than you likely would. I knew her as extended family that became family. I remember her the first for her most abundant love for Mikey. Second, for being so incredibly warm and sincere. I will miss seeing her at the Easter Egg Hunts. Pinterest had nothing on those bunny cakes. Rest in peace, Cherie. Sending our love to Mikey, Bill and family.

Much love,

Mary Guerra

I have always appreciated Cherie’s beautiful, soulful eyes and her smile that pulled people in and made them feel special.  I loved her bright spirit and it will be missed.

My first childhood memories I had were with  my cousins, Cherie and Bill. We enjoyed  years of cousin play dates  and  fond memories  of sharing fun times   with Cherie and her brother, Bill.
I so enjoyed working with Cherie at MLK Library. She was such a sweet lady and so fun to be around. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to Mike and all her family.
I’m so very sorry to hear about Cherie's passing. She was such a beautiful person! Always a smile and genuine care about how you were doing and what was happening in your life. I always looked forward to seeing her at the family reunions. And she was always missed if she couldn’t attend! Along with her famous taco salad! I know she was immediately welcomed into the Lord’s arms. Praying for Mike and her family- now and in the days ahead.
