Cheryl's obituary

šŸ’™ Cheryl Eva Thomas, aged 76, passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 6, 2025, in Lake Stevens. Born on April 6, 1949, Cheryl was renowned for her compassion, kindness, and gentleness. Traits that endeared her to everyone she met. Her family was the center of her world, particularly her grandchildren. Her final days were filled with joy, eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandchild.

Cheryl's early education began at Mt. Pilchuck Elementary and continued at Marysville Pilchuck High School, laying a strong foundation for her later studies at Everett Business School.

Throughout her life, Cheryl maintained a deep connection with her family, surviving her husband Tommy Thomas, and sister Mary (George) Mull, as well as her parents Ruth Schurman and Bob George. She leaves behind her son Joe Thomas and his spouse Trina Klokkevold, her daughter Jayna Thomas and her partner Paul Bickford, grandchildren Julia Mae, Emma Jo, and Ryen, and her siblings Linda Smith, Melody Johnson, and Ron George.

Cheryl's passion for quilting was a significant part of her life, providing her with a creative outlet and a way to connect with others who shared her interest.

A Celebration of Life service for Cheryl will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, well-wishers are encouraged to make donations to any local animal shelter, honoring Cheryl's love for dogs, especially her beloved Izzy.šŸ¦‹šŸ¾
