Cheryl's obituary

Cheryl Sue Beese (née Boomfield) was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on June 10, 2022 at age 61. She was born on November 3, 1960  to Joseph F Wabich and Virginia T Allen

She leaves behind three sons: John (Dana) Beese, Casey Beese, and Alexander (Tegan) Beese; three grandchildren: Lillian, Zoey, and Franklin Beese; four siblings: Ellen (David) Staton, Steve (Samantha) Boomfield; Cyndi Dietze; and Ginger (Rick) Copen; and her longtime partner, Mick Kapala. 

Preceding her In death were her father Joseph, mother Virginia, stepfather Fred Boomfield, her maternal grandparents John and Estelle Allen and paternal grandparents Joseph and Francis Wabich.

Cheryl was an avid fishing enthusiast and loved getting to travel to new places. She was regularly found volunteering to take veterans out fishing, and ensuring they had a memorable experience. When she wasn’t fishing, she was often tying flies and spending time with her family. A celebration of life will be held on July 9th starting at 11:00am, at Hatchery Park in Spring Grove, IL. Attendees can bring their fishing poles to catch and release in honor of Cheryl.
