Cherrie Anne's obituary
Cherrie Anne Mangalinao Espino was born on July 16, 1975 and graduated from Alverno High School in Sierra Madre in the class of 1993. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1998 and later achieved a Master of Business Administration from Ashford University in 2012. Throughout her education and career, Cherrie remained committed to the values of hard work, compassion, and service to others.
Cherrie dedicated many years serving as a Critical Care Registered Nurse, helping countless patients with her expertise and compassion. She later became a Clinical Supervisor in the Critical Care Unit at Huntington Hospital, where she led her team through difficult night shifts, saving many lives. Her career culminated as a Clinical Educator, where she trained and mentored the next generation of nurses, sharing her knowledge and passion for caring for others. Her impact was felt not only by her patients but by the many nurses she trained, always putting others’ needs before her own.
Her greatest devotion, however, was to her family. Cherrie cared deeply for her parents, siblings, and, especially, her niece and nephews, always putting family first. She loved spending time with relatives, and creating cherished memories.
Cherrie touched the lives of everyone around her, not just through her work, but through her kindness, generosity, and selflessness. Her legacy of love and compassion will stay with us always, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
