Cherl and I met when we were roommates in a transition facility in Kissimmee Florida. After we both graduated, we remained friends and supported each other in our recovery. We both held a strong faith and loved Christian music and specifically Casting Crowns. In 2009, Casting Crowns came to Orlando and Cherl and I went together to see them in concert. It was a special time and a memory I will never forget. I am sorry we lost touch with each other but she did recently reach out for prayer during her illness. I know without a doubt that Cherl is with our Lord and savior and happier than she's ever been in her life. She loved her daughters with all of her heart and my prayers are with you during this time of grief. I can't wait to see Cherl again and spend eternity singing Casting Crowns songs.
