Cherie Carl, age 49 of Warren, Michigan died Thursday, June 18, 2020, at her home in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on October 7, 1970, daughter of Paul Skiles and Lynne Collis. Cherie is preceded in death by her uncle, Emmet Skiles, her grandmother, Lois Fassbender and her grandparents, William and Marie Skiles. Cherie is survived by her children James Mackley Jr. and Erika Mackley, her siblings, Dennis Collis Jr., Mark Collis and Kimberly Collis, her parents, Paul Skiles and Lynne Collis, and her step father, Dennis Collis Sr. Cherie enjoyed connecting with family and friends while cooking new recipes to enjoy together. She loved traveling to beaches where she would collect seashells and when her children were young she volunteered at their school events always with a big smile on her face. Cherie was active in her church and loved cuddling with her cat, Milo. An intimate memorial service will be held at Christian Memorial Gardens West in Rochester Hills, Michigan with close friends and family to honor her life.
