Cheri Leona “Muffin” Bushong, 29, passed away on September 9, 2025, in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Born on February 27, 1996, in Gary, Indiana, Cheri brought warmth and joy into the world from the very beginning.

A proud graduate of Ball State University, Cheri earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications. With a passion for creativity and connection, she pursued a career in advertising and spent four years contributing her talents to an up-and-coming company. Her work reflected her vibrant personality—full of energy, insight, and a deep understanding of people.

Cheri was known by those around her as kind-hearted and funny, with a generosity that touched everyone she encountered. Her empathy was boundless; she had an innate ability to sense when someone needed support and never hesitated to offer it. Whether through a thoughtful gesture or simply her ever-present smile, Cheri made others feel seen and valued. Her presence lit up every room she entered.

She is lovingly remembered by her father Jon Bushong and mother Kristi Clouse; her brothers Brandon Bell, Oliver Bushong, and “J.J.”; and her sister “Emily.” Cheri was preceded in death by her brother Leroy Tutt.

Cheri’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May the light she shared continue to shine through those who carry her spirit forward.
