Chaston's obituary
Mr. Williams began his career in his Father's business, Williams & Son's Nursery (horticulture) in Hallandale, Florida at the age of nine. He later went on to work for one of the local hospitals as a cook.
Mr. Williams joined Greater Ward Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Hallandale, Florida in 1962. Mr. Williams was a man of great courage. Mr. Williams was a faithful member of Greater Bethel AME Church, I believe in Miami, Florida. He served in the U. S. Air Force, for two years, 1974-76.
Mr. Williams was survived by a dedicated companion, Margaret Saunders, his sister, Brenda Williams, her son Jarvis Williams, aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.
Life is real! life is earnest! And the
Grave is not its goal; Dust thou are,
to dust thou returnest, Was not spoken
of the soul.
