Charlotte T. Gallegos was born on November 28, 1930 to Eduardo and Lupita Padilla. On November 23, 2019, Charlotte passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Lupita Padilla; spouse, Tony Gallegos; daughter, Charlotte Gallegos; daughter-in-law’s Sally Gallegos and Pauline Padilla; and great grandson Jaiden Gallegos. She is survived by her son, Gary Gallegos, Sr.; daughters, Theresa M. Briones and Diana Lopez spouse Michael; brother, Richard Padilla; grandchildren, Claudia E. Briones, Gary Gallegos, Jr. spouse Vanessa, Christopher Gallegos; and great grandchildren Monique, Christina, David (Bubba) Olivarez.

Charlotte was a lifetime member of the Sociedad de Nuestra Senora del Carmen, Santa Cruz, New Mexico. She retired from the Española Public School District- Sombrillo Elementary, where she was a cafeteria cook for thirty plus years. Charlotte enjoyed working as a voter registration clerk and poll clerk for decades. Rosary recited on Saturday November 30, 2019 at 10AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at Holy Cross Church, Santa Cruz de la Canada. Interment will be on Monday December 2,2019 at 3 PM Santa Fe National Cemetery.
