Charlyn's obituary
Charlyn Candice McNeil was born on May 4, 1980, and passed away late Tuesday night, September 30, 2025, at the age of 45, after a courageous and prolonged battle with metastasized breast cancer. She passed peacefully in Lodi, California, at her sister’s home, surrounded by family.
Charlyn was a devoted Christian who believed deeply in Jesus Christ and attended Calvary Chapel of Sacramento. Her faith shaped the way she lived—marked by compassion, service, and a genuine love for others. Even while undergoing chemotherapy, she continued to volunteer at Union Gospel Mission of Sacramento, where she faithfully served by sorting clothing, hygiene products, and essential items for women, men, and children.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Charlyn is survived by her devoted husband, Jordan Conner, and his two children. She was the biological mother of one daughter, Jasmyn Rosado, and lovingly helped raise three sons from a previous relationship—James, Jacob, and Jeremiah Rosado—whom she embraced as her own. She is also survived by many siblings, extended family members, and friends.
Known for her free spirit and generous heart, Charlyn touched countless lives. She was quick to serve, deeply empathetic, and made those around her feel valued and cared for. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her was truly blessed by her presence.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 31, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at Calvary Chapel of Sacramento, to honor and remember Charlyn and the impact she made through her faith, love, and service. In her memory, donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission of Sacramento, a cause that held special meaning to her.
