Charlyn's obituary
In Loving Memory of Charlyn Kerri Armstrong
March 12, 1960 – July 12, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlyn Kerri Armstrong, who entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Heaven has welcomed another saint as she steps into her well-deserved rest, having faithfully run the race set before her.
Charlyn was born in Portland, Oregon. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and the cherished daughter of Raymond and Lyn Olson.
Though Charlyn never formally adopted children, she regarded strangers as family, just not yet acquainted. This perspective reflected her own adoption by Christ, and she extended the love she received from Him to everyone she met. Her faith was gentle and quietly powerful. Where there should have been fear, she chose love. Her life shone joy, peace, and patience; a living reflection of the fruit of the Spirit.
Charlyn is survived by her husband, Steven Armstrong, and their five children: Brooke, Monica, Chelsea, Brian, and Tyler.
A memorial service will be held on August 8 at 6pm at Peninsula Bible Fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local cancer charity, or honor Charlyn's legacy by spending time with those you love and cherishing every tomorrow.
Thank you for each day shared, Charlyn. Save us a seat at the table.
