With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte Gossett who was born on December 18, 1944, and departed from this earth on January 6, 2024. Known for her honesty, loyalty, kindhearted nature, stubbornness, and selflessness, Charlotte left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate to have known her.

Charlotte is survived by her loving daughters, Mindy Malone (Jackie) and Carolyn Malone (Joey). She was a cherished grandmother to Cody Addison (Shelby) and Lacey Thurman (Eric) as well as great-grandmother to Colby, Jasper & Lainey Addison. She will fondly be remembered by her  brother Jim Hicks (Gayla) and her sister Marilyn Nippers (Kenny) along with several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Gossett Sr.; her mother, Opal Hicks; her father, Charles Hicks; and sister, Donna Anderson. Despite these losses, along with any obstacle life gave her, Charlotte remained steadfast and her strength was a source of inspiration for everyone around her.

The essence of Charlotte's life can be summed up in her words of wisdom she often shared, "Live your life for the Lord." Her greatest achievement, as she often said she couldn't wait, was "Making it to Heaven". Her legacy will undoubtedly continue through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved immeasurably.

Time will pass and the void left by Charlotte's departure will not be filled. But her memories and teachings will continue to guide and inspire us. She may have left our sight but not our hearts and as she would tell you, you will see me again in Heaven. Forever in our hearts, Charlotte Gossett.
