Charlotte's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Marilyn Cheuvront on May 15, 2023 in Cottonwood, AZ. Charlotte was born on May 1, 1938 in Geneva, IL. She graduated from Glenbard West High school in 1956, and worked at the Chicago Northern Bank & Trust in Chicago, IL. Charlotte and Jim were married on August 13, 1960. They lived in Littleton, CO, Warrenville, IL, Cape Coral, FL, and Pine Junction, CO during their 44 years of marriage. Charlotte was a devoted wife, loving mother, and dedicated caregiver. When asked what fulfilled her life the most, she stated 'my love for my Lord, and being a mommy'. She enjoyed her passion of playing her accordion at church, being a missionary in the Philippines, traveling with her pilot son, and tending to her numerous plants and garden. Charlotte, or 'Grandma Roses' as she was known by to many, looked forward to an eternal life in paradise after overcoming many health challenges. She is survived by her son, Bill Cheuvront (Julie) of Loveland, CO, daughter, Carol Henderson-Dahms (Rick) of Cottonwood, AZ, 7 grandchildren (Jason W., Nichole H., Shylynne D., Danielle K., Kenzie R., Katie K., and Michael C.), 4 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, countless friends, and her pug, Cinnamon, age 16. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Wenzel Ewing, Father, Raymond Ewing, both of Cape Coral, FL, Brother, Robert Ewing (Donna) of Ocala, FL, Brother, Ray Ewing, of Ft. Myers, FL, and loving husband, Jim Cheuvront, of Littleton, CO. No funeral services were planned. Instead, a Celebration of Life will be held January 11, 2024 at sunrise, 7:00 a.m., oceanside at Hawaiian Beaches/Kahakai Park, Pahoa, HI. A private graveside service will be held at Ft. Logan National cemetery, Denver, CO - date to be determined.
