Charlie's obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Anita Louise Assunta "Charlie" Sorensen, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Charlie was born on December 20, 1959 and passed away on April 27, 2023.
Charlie is survived by her sons, Vern and Jacob Sorensen; her mother, Dorothy Inglese; her brother, Tony Inglese; her sisters, Angie Inglese and Adriana Sielsch; and her grandsons, Tobias and Elijah Sorensen. She was a loving and compassionate person who dedicated her life to her family and friends.
Charlie was a longtime active member at Wrightwood Community United Methodist Church, where she served selflessly and touched numerous lives through her acts of kindness and empathy. Her unwavering loyalty and love for her family and friends were truly inspiring.
Throughout her life, Charlie achieved many accomplishments. She catered numerous events for friends and family, and even successfully ran her own tour company at one point. However, her greatest legacy lies in the exemplary life she led, teaching us the importance of finding joy in serving others, recognizing the significance of family, and always striving to find the silver lining in every situation.
Her greatest joy came from seeing her friends and family happy, and she leaves behind an indelible mark of true servant's heart on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wrightwood United Methodist Church in Charlie's memory. You can donate at the following website: https://everloved.com/life-of…
As we mourn the loss of our beloved Charlie Sorensen, let us celebrate her life and remember the immeasurable impact she had on those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be greatly missed, but her loving spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
