Angela's obituary

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Ms. Angela Pitcock, who left us on February 15, 2025. Born on March 30, 1949, Angela's life was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, underscored by wit, strength, and a unique ability to touch lives.

Angela's personality was a confluence of strength, wit, intelligence, and forgiveness. She was the embodiment of kindness, loyalty, and generosity. Her thoughtfulness and love shone through in everything she did, and her positive, social demeanor was infectious. Known for her mischievous sense of humor, Angela was also an advocate of frugal living, and wasn't afraid of taking daring decisions or leading from the front.

Beyond her personal traits, Angela was an accomplished chemical engineer, having completed her education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her professional life was marked by an impressive 30-year tenure of service for the State of Tennessee. She was a proud Girl Scout, a testament to her dedication towards community service and youth empowerment.

The lessons Angie left behind are timeless values that she held dear - the Golden Rule, kindness, compassion, and integrity. These principles guided her actions and decisions, and she made every effort to pass these gems of wisdom to her surviving son, Charlie Pitcock, and others close to her.

Angie's legacy is one of firm resolve and unshakeable principles. She exemplified the importance of standing one's ground amid adversity, asserting a strong will without compromising on kindness or compassion. This legacy will continue to live on, inspiring her family and everyone who had the privilege to know her.

In the face of this immense loss, we remember Angie for all the love and light she brought into the world. Her spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us of the strength of the human will and the power of kindness.
