We honor the life of Charlie May "Chucky Sue" Foster, who passed away on March 7th, 2023. Born on May 4th, 2010, Charlie May lived a life characterized by warmth, love, and an enduring sense of compassion. Though she was known by many as Chucky Sue, she preferred the name Charlie May.
Charlie May will be profoundly missed by her family. She is survived by her mother, Kati Foster; her father, Justin Foster; her sisters, Natalie Foster and Gracie Foster; and her brother, Andersen F. The Foster family welcomed new additions in 2011, 2015, and 2022, whom Charlie May embraced with open paws.
Throughout her life, Charlie May moved from Hudson, OH, in 2020, to Twinsburg, OH, in 2022, finding joy and making memories in each place she called home. She loved spending time at local sites like Brandy Wine Falls, Kendall Cliffs, and the local dog park. Her favorite vacation spot was Uncle Gary's cabin in Pennsylvania.
Charlie May had an eclectic taste, her favorite foods included bacon, peanut butter, and cantaloupe, while her favorite drink was water. A fan of literature, she loved "The Bible" and "The Day the Crayons Quit". She thoroughly enjoyed music from Taylor Swift and the song "Who Let the Dogs Out". Her love for motion pictures was noted with “The Lion King” being her favorite movie, and she treasured the TV show "The Mind of a Dog".
She had a penchant for arts, particularly dancing. An ardent sports enthusiast, she cheered for The Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. The games she loved playing most included fetch, tug of war, and eat the bubbles. Hamilton was her favorite performance to watch, and her recreational pursuits included napping and snuggling. Walking was her preferred mode of exercise.
Charlie May cherished the color pink and was moved by the cause of the Animal Protective League. She shared the valuable lesson of treating others as one wishes to be treated. She remarkably survived a bus accident unscathed, an accomplishment she held dear. The legacy she leaves behind is one of kindness and compassion.
